If you grant permission, the App may read the following data:
- Sleep data (time asleep, time in bed)
- Sleep stages (if available)
We do not write any data into HealthKit — only read, with your explicit consent.
Health data is used exclusively to:
- estimate your daily focus capacity,
- generate insights and recommendations,
- display charts inside the App.
Your HealthKit data never leaves your device.
It is not stored on our servers and is never shared with third parties.
1.2. Screen Time Data
If you grant permission, the App may read:
- total time spent on device,
- total usage across categories (e.g., entertainment, productivity).
We do not read information about specific apps you use.
Screen Time data is used to:
- estimate how much focus you may have consumed,
- improve your daily focus predictions,
- personalize recommendations.
All data stays on your device.
1.3. App Usage Data
We may collect minimal anonymized analytics (e.g., crash data, general engagement) to improve app performance.
This data cannot identify you personally.
1.4. Subscription & Purchase Information
If you subscribe through the App Store:
- Apple processes your payment information,
- We receive only non-sensitive confirmation of your purchase (e.g., subscription status).
We do not have access to your credit card or billing details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
- calculate your estimated daily focus capacity,
- show personalized insights,
- improve predictions,
- maintain app functionality,
- support your premium subscription.
We do not:
- sell your data,
- use your data for advertising,
- share your data with third parties.
3. Data Storage
- All sensitive data (HealthKit, Screen Time) is stored locally on your device only.
- Subscription information is securely managed using App Store infrastructure.
- We do not maintain external servers containing your personal data.

We take steps to protect your data, including:
- using secure storage mechanisms on your device,
- minimizing the amount of data collected,
- not collecting unnecessary personal information.

5. Your Rights
You can:
- revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Apps,
- revoke Screen Time permissions in iOS Settings,
- delete the app to remove all local data,
- manage your subscription through Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
6. Children's Privacy
Focus Battery is not intended for children under 16.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
